Kitemarked Ductile Iron Access Cover and Frame for Trafficked Chambers
The D400 KM CD534 manhole cover is a ductile iron cover and frame from the Eccles Endurance range, for access to drainage and utility chambers in trafficked areas. It complies with National Highways CD 534 and is Kitemarked to BS EN 124-2:2015, with a D400 load class and a 400kN test load. Four variants cover 600 x 600mm and 675 x 675mm openings in 100mm and 150mm frame depths.

Key design features
Three-point suspension seats the cover without rocking under traffic. A SmartGrip surface pattern is cast into the cover for slip resistance. Inverted V seatings spread loads into the frame, and a wide frame flange increases the bedding area. Integrated lifting points allow mechanical handling.
