Vienite Channel Drain with Galvanised ACO Drain Channel Cover for Domestic Surface Water

The ACO RainDrain 47000 is a 1 metre channel drainage unit for surface water in domestic and lightly trafficked areas. ACO moulds the channel from Vienite, its high strength recycled polymer concrete, and fits it with a galvanised ACO drain channel cover that clips into place. Channels interlock end to end, and a pre-formed knock-out connects the run to Ø110mm PVC-U pipework.

Key Design Features

The clip locking grating holds the cover securely in the channel without separate fixings. The channel shape anchors the unit into its concrete surround, and a sealant groove at each joint helps make the run watertight. Inside, the channel profile is shaped to speed up the flow of water and help the drain clear itself of debris.

Applications

Use this channel at patios, paths, garage thresholds and other pedestrian or cycle areas, plus minimally trafficked areas carrying light domestic vehicles only. ACO states that no A15 product is suitable for heavy domestic vehicles such as 4x4s or SUVs. Where that traffic is expected, specify a B125 channel instead.

Complete Your Drainage System
