This Diffuser Unit is designed to efficiently distribute collected rainwater into the sub-base of permeable paving systems. By installing this rainwater diffuser unit as part of a sustainable drainage solution (SuDS), it helps slow and spread the flow of stormwater, reducing the risk of erosion and promoting even infiltration throughout the aggregate layer beneath permeable surfaces. Supplied pre-assembled and ready for installation, the rainwater diffuser connects directly to standard 110mm underground push-fit pipework, streamlining the fitting process on site. Fully compliant with BS7533-13:2009, it supports best practice in the design and construction of permeable pavement systems.

To prevent the build-up of silt and debris, pre-treatment is essential. These diffuser units should be installed downstream of a silt management system such as a WASP silt catchpit or Raintaina filter chamber, ensuring cleaner flow and longer-term drainage performance.
